We are advocates for the rights of children with disabilities and the parents who care for them. We support the mission of the Guam Interagency Coordinating Council (GICC), which is a federally mandated statewide interagency group that advises and assists agencies providing early intervention services to young children birth to 5 years old, with or at risk for disabilities and their families. GICC further advises and assists the lead agency in the development and implementation of policies constituting the island-wide system of coordinated services, participating public and private agencies who are involved with early intervention services for children, birth through five years old and their families.

GUAM SPECIAL OLYMPICS GOLD WINNER - Robert Munoz
Robert Jay Munoz of Agana Heights and 2nd grade student from Tamuning Elementary School proudly wore his gold medal when he won in the 50 meter relay when he participated in the Guam Special Olympics 2010 in April at Guam Okkodu High School. Munoz, who is identified with autism, along with other school peers, trained for at least 8 weeks to prepare for this event. The yearly Special Olympics event provides individuals with disabilities opportunities to shine. Regardless of their degree of their disability, the Special Olympics Guam also gives them equality in the community. Munoz is the son of Robert F. Wagner of Agana Heights and Renee Munoz of Dededo, and grandson of Lois T. Gumataotao, Agana Heights.
